Keyboard not working after boot

The Toshiba screen would appear, then it would beep 5 times and reboot.

Yesterday the keyboard stopped working all of a sudden and when I tried to restart the computer windows wouldn't start. I have a Toshiba Satellite 元05 laptop with Windows Vista.
